one of my greatest enjoyments is a daily walk.
i see things in far greater detail than when i am driving by.

Same trip my DFed brother came to visit, we did a guided "mural walk" through the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.
This one below was one of my favorites. It's on the wall of a restaurant called "Range". Very $$$, but very tasty.
That's all for today. Thanks for starting this thread Coco.

My DFed brother and my son on the green roof of the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco a couple years ago.
And my wife and son inside the Ca Academy of Sciences standing next to some humanoid skulls much older than 6,000 years.

This place is between 5-60 minutes from our front door. (As are all the photos I'll post.) It's on the peninsula south of San Francisco, CA about 20 miles. It's an estate formerly owned by some tycoon early in 20th century and it's called FILOLI. FI = FIGHT, LO = LOVE, LI = LIVE. “Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life.” It's now open to the public.

the greatest of love and peace to you all.
on another thread i posted what i stated was my last post.
that wasn't true; this is my last post on jwn.
I'm sorry to see a unique poster like you leave the kaleidoscope that is JWN.
I personally never cared much for the majority of your posts because they were just not my cup of tea.
You as an individual in real life, well, I'm glad to have made your acquaintance last weekend.
As Josie said: "Do what you gonna do."
And if your version of God brings you peace of mind, more power to you.
Namaste,

my wife and i call in to the cbs/tms/sm once or twice a month and only listen to the announcements.
last week the announcements included a demo of a jw woman trying to peddle mags to a female householder.
her intro went like this:.
para: ROFLMAO! Wish I could have been there.
Thanks for the other replies and wish I could post a proper response to each, but I've got run out the door with my unbaptized son to see if we can find something fun to do in San Francisco today.
Cheers,

this is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..
*munching popcorn and wondering how/if relations between the posters on this thread would be if all were together at Lake Tahoe*
